We are always very happy to welcome couples for weddings at St George's. We recognise that this is a very important day for you and we will do all that we can to help make it a very special occasion.
We are a team of three ministers all of whom conduct weddings:
Andie Brown - Archdeacon of Man & Vicar
Alessandra Di Chiara - Associate Vicar
John Guilford - Associate Minister
Although St George is a particularly beautiful and historic building we are very aware that we are more than just a wedding venue. In the marriage service you will be making your vows before God. As a Christian community it is our privilege to support you and pray for you throughout the process of preparing for your wedding, on the day itself and beyond, as it is our hope that we can help you to build strong foundations for your marriage.
Preparing for your wedding
Your first step should be to contact the Associate Vicar Alessandra Di Chiara. You can either do this directly (Tel 01624 679274; Email: email@example.com), or by using the form. Alessandra will arrange to meet with you and advise you about the legal formalities pertaining to your particular wedding. She will also help and advise you about the various choices open to you with regard to the service itself and the arrangements surrounding your wedding.
Information you may find useful
Whether you are well ahead in your planning or just thinking about where to start, there are lots of choices that you will need to make. Do take a look at the Church of England wedding site. This has lots of really helpful information. However, please note that the legal formalities here on the Isle of Man do differ from those in the UK. Alessandra will be very happy to guide you through the legal process.
We believe that marriage is a gift from God and that a good marriage is healthy, freeing and life giving. It is our desire at St George & All Saints to support you in every way that we can. May God bless and guide you both as you make your plans for your marriage.

" One of the best decisions that David and I made for our wedding, was to get married at St.George's! The church itself is such a beautiful building, and it made a great backdrop for our ceremony; with the added bonus of providing for some absolutely stunning photographs. Alessandra conducted such a lovely service for us, it really was everything we wanted and we had so many of our guests commenting that it was one of the nicest wedding ceremonies they'd ever been to. Everyone at St.George's make you feel like part of the family from day one, and through getting married there, we feel like we have made some life-long friends!" - Katherine
